Irish Labour History Society Awarded Funding Under The Heritage Council’s ‘Heritage Organisations Support Fund’

The Irish Labour History Society is delighted to announce that the Society’s application for funding under the Heritage Council’s Heritage Organisations Fund 2026/27 has been successful.

Our successful application, titled ‘Supporting, Sustaining & Increasing Access To The Irish Labour History Society Collections’, will help the Society in meeting operational costs as we develop, strategically plan and increase access to the unique collections held in Beggars Bush. It is planned to have the records of the Irish Women Workers Union catalogued to professional archival standard as part of the programme of work taking place over the next year. Further details and evidence of work achieved through the receipt of this grant will be publicised between now and Spring 2027.
