Awarding Of Funding For Conservation Work Under Heritage Council Community Heritage Grants Scheme

The Irish Labour History Society was recently informed that our application under the 2024 Community Heritage Grants Scheme for conservation work  of an original Irish Women Workers Union banner and the purchase of a museum display caste for original Irish Citizen Army uniforms that are both stored in Beggars Bush are successful. The Society is now progressing this project, with our partners.

The Society would like to acknowledge the support of the Heritage Council towards this project to ensure the long-term conservation of important items in our collections.
