1913 – 2013 Lockout Centenary

As the year of the centenary of the 1913 Lockout has come to an end; we have created a dedicated section comprising of relevant items of interest. The 26th of August 2013, marks the anniversary of the start of the 1913 Lockout and Strike
Tram workers deserted their vehicles in protest when William Martin Murphy forbade employees of his Dublin United Tramways Company to be members of Larkin’s Irish Transport and General Workers Union (ITGWU).
