Tribute Event To Liam Cahill This Sunday
A special tribute event to former Society member, journalist, historian and author Liam Cahill is taking place this Sunday in Kells County Meath as part of the Hinterland Festival in Kells, County Meath. Irish Times journalist Fintan O’Toole is giving the Liam Cahill Memorial Lecture on the topic of ‘Journalism and Truth: Challenges Of The Current Era’.
Liam Cahill was author of works on the Limerick Soviet and on Mossie Quinlan, Spanish International Brigade Volunteer who died in the Battle of Jarama. Liam sadly passed away suddenly in June 2022.
